Corné joined Rabobank in July 1991 and is an experienced banker with a background in credit risk management and policies, management and coaching. Corné currently acts as a Senior Project Manager at Rabobank International Advisory Services (RIAS), which is a  wholly owned part of Rabobank.  Where Rabobank is the global leader in food & agri financing, RIAS is a dedicated part of Rabobank focused on developing markets. In particular, RIAS is focused on improving access to finance in rural areas thereby addressing one of the main bottlenecks in food security: financing.

Corné leads cooperative capacity building programs in Rwanda, Côte d’Ivoire, Chile and Vietnam and is responsible for several value chain financing programs. Corné holds a Master Degree Business Administration at the University of Nijmegen.
